Even though small cars comprise less than 5% of the US market today, automakers are expecting a big increase in sales this Fall.  A recent article in Business week features brief commentaries on the top fuel efficient models for Fall 2007:

• Toyota Yaris
• 2008 Honda Fit
• 2008 Nissan Versa
• Chevy Cobalt
• 2007 Toyota Prius

The Honda Fit is a five-door hatchback automobile produced by Honda of Japan, that was first introduced in June 2001.   The 2008 model averages 27 MPG in the city and 34 highway with an estimated MSRP at $13,950.
